Glad you liked it!

As for Dry County - I think everyone standing at the stadium while playing Dry County doesn't think about what is wrong, you can't notice it, especially if the issues are small.
I'm still waiting to watch a proper video, this song deserves it

It's great to see that even you were carried off on the roller coaster of this tour!

Seb, it's great to read what you have just written. Especially after reading so many negative posts from you about the band in the last months. Right now I can tell you only this - your faith in this amazing band has failed lately but right now all your sins are forgotten A lot of us have told you that you will have a blast at this NJ shows. You didn't believe us, so the band itself just had to prove you were wrong. YT videos don't mean a thing compared to live show. Statistics, numbers etc are worthless. And I also think that the next 2 shows will only get better. So your joy will only get bigger. I wish I was there too, man. You all are really blessed to see them in NJ. And remember - Keep The Faith - always, no matter what, and you will never come out dissapointed

okay so here it is....

Seb has just proven the point that you have to be at the show and see it and jovi always rocks. This is a point he has consistently failed to realize as you all have pointed out numerous times...

and here it comes...

Last nights show was not great...it was not an 8...the sound was not great...i saw that exact show (sans the saving grace of DC) when it was called Philly Night 1...i havent checked but it may have been the EXACT same show...down to roadhouse blues...richie was better but still not on...

having said that its a great time, our band is always awesome

i can also see where jbj is coming from - the house was packed so if it wasnt a sell out it was certainly close...and the crowd seemed into the songs they knew and very NOT into the songs they didnt....so jbj is doin what he does but i read a thread with i think danfan and thierry and for the first time in my life i have to agree...part of me was bored...and thats just being spoiled i realize - i have seen them so many times - and i was ALMOST totally fine with DC being played like i just needed one song...and maybe its bec it was sooo similar to philly night 1, but with the lack of all the cool arena screen gymnastics (maybe due to the big stage and/or the lack of ceiling scaffolding) the production wasnt even really fun to watch...

i think the point in the other thread was very well said...it is getting boring...when you see the show the first time its awesome...

maybe its coming off seeing pearl jam twice once in VA and once in newark - the shows had ~20k people and they play 5 songs at both shows - the rest were all different...and im at a jovi show hoping for one song?? and DC is not even a rariety really....as seb has mentioned repeatedly...

and to top it off - once again...IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SPECIAL - OPENING A NEW STADIUM...they have failed at that every time....EVERY TIME...close to unacceptable...

my car is in the shop so i dont think i can make tonight but if they rock the house with a completly diff setlist then even that is wrong...and i dont wanna ruin anyones fun as a spoiled brat of a fan - but tonight go with your eyes open or i want to read Sebs all-mattering review of these shows 3 weeks from now after the immediate post-show high has worn off as well as the contact-high from Kathleen has had time to diffuse...

itll be a good show...its jersey - they should be great - or at least TRY to be....

ramble over

Glad you enjoyed it mate. Carli has just messaged me on Facebook saying that you're all having a fantastic time. Live gigs are just great. The version of Dry County will probably have been far from perfect but it doesn't matter when you're at a live show as both the audience and the band feed off the atmosphere, and it makes it a great experience. If anything I prefer live versions of songs than the studio versions because it is less perfect. It is the band in their element. No production, no overdubs. **** I'd give anything to be in NY now with you guys.

What they played Roadhouse Blues? Awesome. I love that song. I've never been a big fan of Bon Jovi playing covers but that almost beats them playing Lola at Manchester in 03.
