Oh believe me, he is making a lot of mistakes this tour. Just listen to most versions of Love's The Only Rule (there a quite a few dull notes on most of the solo's this song) or When We Were Beautiful.

He is getting really sloppy.

I gotta agree. Since he cleaned up, his playing style got a LOT better but he's still ****ing up way more than she should.

Sounds like Jon and Richie must have had a row or something before the show even started. Some nights Jon seems to tolerate things okay. Judging from Jon's blatant taunting in IML, it's conceivable Richie called him out on something, and that was Jon's way of getting even. I know some of you will say that's mindless speculation, but Jon is certainly the personality type to do that.

Am I wrong in adding that his solos seem to lack any- I'm a music noob so I don't know how to word it- variety or structure to them? He just seems to enter a string of shreds and then lets the song resume. He really doesn't seem to give a shit anymore. At least at the height of his problems we would get gems like the O2 rendition of Any Other Day, or some of his versions of These Days. Not that I'm saying that's the solution, obviously.

He's made mistakes but not many catostrophic things. Now when I reach back in the back of my mind way back to March and remember the Fargo concert, there were a few slipups. It seems like something's not adding up here with the slipups and the whole Jon thing.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

I find he relies on a handful of "tricks" or "Sambora signature licks" far too much, starting in 2002ish. He brought up his game on the Lost Highway dvd with some new stuff but it's kind of falling back to how it was before. I love his playing style to death and he's a HUGE musical inspiration to my guitar playing but eh, the guy is tired. He needs a break.

What I meant was that he makes mistakes - a few dull notes or play a few notes in a wrong key. That happens quite a bit.

I agree with everything Seb said. I'm pissed on so many levels. Mostly about the setlist. Not one damn bone. They couldn't be bothered to throw us one song that hadn't been done in the U.S. before the European shows. What a slap in the face to anyone who went to any amount of trouble to get to this show.

That's not true - they played Glad All Over. Which was a tour premiere .
