Support Acts

I saw Less Than Jake, SR-71, and Eve 6 open for Bon Jovi. SR-71 was my favorite and I became a fan. They really got the crowd going!

Skid Row opened for Bon Jovi for much of the New Jersey tour. They weren't very good though IMO.

I didn't watch this but Van Halen opened for Bon Jovi. That is THE best opening act that Bon Jovi ever had... one of the best hard rock band ever in the universe.

I saw Van Halen support BJ at Wembley along with Thunder and although Van Halen were absolutely brill IMHO Thunder blow the off stage.

Though I've never gotten to Cinderella open for Jovi [but I've seen Cinderella a few times in clubs and part of the poison tour] I would say they are my favorite band to have opened for Jovi. Cinderella is just phenomenal live.

Also if you count the Moscow Peace Fest then these bands all opened up for BJ:

Ozzy
Motley Crue
Scorpions

(as well as Gorky Park, Skid Row and Cinderella of course)

I also saw this band bad biscuit open for Bon Jovi in Jones beach on the These Days tour [might have been a local band] but they were really good. Never heard anything from them ever again though.

There is also talk that Skid Row is trying to get the opening slot for a piece of the North American tour coming up next year. I hope they do.

i think billy idol was great, i saw him 1993 opening for bon jovi in vienna !! but the best support act they ever had where van halen !!! they are beside bon jovi and aerosmith, and the e-street band one of the best !!

I liked the Stereophonics very much.
And also Reamonn were cool!!!!!

Collective Soul in Mexico was excelent, in the OWN tour!!!!!
