Default Support Bands

Who does everyone hope for a support band then? I personally don't like goo goo dolls, but i can see how they are better than most modern bands....

... i would personally like it if bon jovi decided to bring scorpions to the UK for only the 2nd time in 12 years now. Ideally there's the old 1995 van halen thing but we all know how unlikely that is...

... all i want from a support band is someone who models roughly the music of the main act - toploader, johnson, delirious etc were all comepletely different to BJ - they need someone who can get the crowd fired up ready for the main act...

... rather than someone to pass the time.

Tom

I really liked Gotthard who supported them on their last tour. It would be great if they´d support them this time again.

I would like The Calling to support them. That would be cool, my 1st band supported by my 2nd!

Who are lifehouse?

I loved Matchbox20 last year, they were brilliant!

Id love if Picture House supported them in Ireland, they are an excellent Irish band, but not really known that much outside of Ireland!

Really? Where did you hear that? That would be so great - they were really good at Shephards Bush. That's who I would pick if it was my decision to make.

Rumpur has it that one of the band members let it slip during an interview - that they would be supporting jovi in their european tour.

Lifehouse are a great american rock band - two (superb) albums to their name - No Name Face and Stanley Climbfall. I really recommend both these albums and I really hope they are the support.

They're not that disimilar to MB20.

I am sure they'll go down well with the majority of the Jovi fans.

I so hope it's true. I get their newsletter and so far they've made no mention of this, but that's not totally unexpected - Bon Jovi probably don't want them to announce it just yet. FINGERS CROSSED.

Totally agree with you, both their albums are excellent. After hearing them at SBE I was so impressed I went out and bought them.

I also think the Calling are great. I bought their album on the strength of 'Wherever you will go' and was not disappointed. Wheel 'em on I say!!
