The last great opening act I saw them with was Daughtry. I like the theory or giving an unknown act an opportunity to showcase their material, but it doesn't make for good shows.

I would LOVE it to be either Train or Matchbox Twenty as they're two of my other all time favourite bands but they're both just too big now to support Jovi I think. Bearing in mind that Train played a great run of shows in the UK in May (not sure if sold out, but will have been close) and are coming back to do more of their own shows here in February that rules them out. Plus, their "new album" will be a year old by June 2013.

Matchbox Twenty are going to come here and do their own shows too so I can't see them supporting.

Hope to God I'm wrong though.

The fact that Train and Mb20 are coming here anyway just reinforces the idea that they should do it - any chance do play to 50,000> people, a different fanbase, any band would be crazy not to. Nicklebacks album was out a year by the time they rolled into Europe with Bon Jovi, and they were an arena sized band in the U.S, just as big if not bigger than Mb20. ''All the right reasons'' outsold Have a nice day by a bucketload too.
And whoever said Maroon 5, that might work. Not the biggest fan, very poppy..but it would work. Daughtry would be cool too as 3rd on the bill.

Default Anyone but

Billy Falcon and his hit, "meet us after the show up by section 115". Its a Raleigh thing....

If he ever comes out on the stage again, I'm just going to go hang out in the men's room for an hour.

Wishing for 1927 in Australia... they opened for Roxette earlier this year; not heavy or anything, just a good pop/rock band that will have a new album to promote. It's a long shot though... The support is likely to just be a radio contest winner again with no one else on the bill.

Where you from mate? Off to Nottingham Rock City tomorrow night to see Vega(another good shout for a support act) and at the same time getting tickets for H.E.A.T. at the same venue next year............£3.00 yes 3. fookin
quid. Thats cheaper than the first time I saw Jovi headline in 1985.Cant wait for that one.
Love Vega - great call for support. Saw them at Firefest and they brought the house down.

Thought 'Bleed & Scream' was album of the year until I heard Jimi jamison's new album, also written by Erik Martenson.

To answer your question I live about 5 mins from Bham NEC so Rock City always a good concert venue but after WASP, Richie Sambora, Firefest and the Killers recently I had to pass on current Vega tour.

Jovi will undoubtedly go for some obscure record company act instead of picking a good old rock band like Vega.
