Silvertide is making a big comeback in 2013 if anybody knows who they are, but Jon wouldn't want them to steal the show I imagine.

Rival Sons, and Middle Class Rut would be great

Probably the only good support act in recent years were Young Guns in London 2010. They released a killer new album this year. Other great fits for the slot are Kids In Glass Houses and H.E.A.T.

Default Let's Rock!

Bon Jovi

H.E.A.T

Vega

What am awesome line up that would be. Could be glorious. Proper rock music and not some beards blokes in waistcoats pretending not to be indie.

On a personal note, i loved joan osborne. That girl has a tremendous voice. I am a fan ever since i saw her as support act for bon jovi. But ok, i know i am lonely with that opinion.

As long as it is a rock band and a decent one, it would be great for me. Bring out one of their peers from the 80s. Poison. Def leppard. Or if newer... wolfmother, the gaslight anthem, or if they want they can also opt for snow patrol @(not ver rock)but certainly a crowd puller. Kasabian?

Saw Vega last night and same as Firefest superb if not better. Bit of a line up change the bass players out(although he was at rock city) and they've brought in another guitarist with the Martin twin now playing bass. New stuff sounds good and the song that's been leaked on YT. (THere for you) is probably one of the best I've heard from them. Got my Heat ticket too but be warned if you're going that the doors don't open til 10pm.

Never in a million years would Jon tour with what he probably sees as 'nostalgia' acts. ( I would LOVE to see them with leppard) He's so focused on being modern and relevant, look at every single support act from the past few tours..not a fellow cheesy 80s rock act in sight.

Snow Patrol are too big and LOL at Kasabian - they would not be seen dead opening for Bon Jovi.

But I do think the lineup for Slane will be different as it is a standalone festival, so support acts will differ as they will be picked by the organizers as well, instead of by Bon Jovi Management/Promoter.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

U2 had Muse as support on some of their US shows recently and we got some low level bar band. It's all about the money.
