It's meant to be a festival much like hard rock calling.... So I would be expecting 4-6 myself!

Have done some research on Slane! Last time an event was held there was 2010 headlined by kings of Leon, the days line up was;

The Whigs
Mona
Thin Lizzy
White Lies
Elbow
Kings of Leon (headliner)

Meaning I think we can be expecting up to 5 acts during the day and 1 or 2 of which are likely to be very well known.

Well when I saw The Chilli peppers at Slane, the support acts were the Foo Fighters and Queens of the stone age to name a few.. so yes, its usually a couple of big names on there.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Just heard a radio ad for the UK tour,still no mention of London but the finishing line was “all night,all Bon Jovi”. Might not mean anything but a strange thing to say imo.

It's usually an all day and night thing. I went when The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Morcheeba. Feeder, PJ Harvey played there, the first band came on at around 1pm. The gates aren't opening until 3pm this time around so it doesn't look too good.

Just checked previous dates at Slane, Madonna only had 2 support acts.
