I'm not answering the original question since I've never seen MB20. Nickelback is my 2nd favorite band, but I thought SR-71 put on a better live show. Sheryl Crow was great. The Goo Goo Dolls were an act I really was looking forward to seeing, but they were SO BAD that I haven't even listened to one of their CDs since that concert. Less Than Jake was forgettable.

Goo Goo Dolls is the best Bon Jovi opener since 2000. I had the misfortune of witnessing Eve 6, man that was dreadful.

I think Nickelback.
They were excellent. Really liked them.

Matchbox Twenty were the best for me. I was sorely disappointed in the Goo Goo Dolls as openers and although Nickelback were relatively entertaining, it all sounded like one long song.

I have to say Nickelback were excellent and am already looking forward to seeing them during their own tour.

However, I also liked the GGD and MB20.

MB20 what can I say they converted me in 3 shows. Nickelback were cool also but like mad4jovi says alot of the songs sound the same. Id go back and see them for Ryan though

I really like a handful of their songs I just couldnt get into them Live. They came accross as really boring.

I think it's easy to judge a band as 'boring' when the audience aren't digging it. I've found that the Bon Jovi crowd are a very difficult bunch to please, myself included on a fair amount of occasions.
