Default Thames Clippers

I'm thinking to ride Thames Clippers after concert, but it departs 15 minutes after the end of the event. I don't think I can get on the boat in 15 because bunch of people are leaving from the venue and all aisles and gates will be crowded and would be hard to get out of the venue in 15 minutes.
Does anyone here who have missed the boat for return?

I am going on the 25th and have booked the champagne clipper. My eticket says on it the first boat leaves 15 minutes after the event ends, so seems there is more than one and won't be a mad panic!

there will be a couple after 11 but its a bit risky IMO if you HAVE to be back somewhere by a certain time because there is the possibility when you get to the boat it will be full up

i always take the tube back to waterloo instead

There is more than just one Clipper! They leave as they fill up - just make sure you have pre-booked yoru return trip and it will be fine. It's about 40 minutes back to Waterloo on the Clipper stopping at London Bridge on the way. Assuming the underground is running they probably won't be that busy anyway.

does that mean when the gig finishes they have loads of them lined up to take people or that they have just 1 boat but a new one comes around every 10 minutes or so?

i.e what are the odds of having to wait ages to get onto one?

I've got a return ticket for the Clippers on the 17th.

They know exactly how many people should be on the boat, so I can't see them taking off without people. Unless you are really late.

There will be mutliple boats lined up. As they get full they leave. You shouldn't have to wait too long to get on, and with the underground running they are highly unlikely to be excessively busy (they are a fun way to travel but the practicality is they take more than twice as long to Waterloo).
