About 02 Arena concerts, Jon said they were going to play full albums live, in the end it was a lie.

Think we all kno that If he did keep his promise we would have heard the likes of Lost Highway and The Circle in their entirety! Would have been been a total crowd killer for the majority!

Don't get me wrong ... I love the band. I saw 1 show on the LH tour and 2 shows on The Circle Tour and spent money I probably shouldn't have but I enjoyed myself and enjoyed the shows (even though the LH and Circle tours weren't THAT different).

HOWEVER ...

I feel there is a real sense among more and more die-hards that the band is screwing the fans with ticket pricing and bleeding them for as much as they can ... not quite KISS territory, but not that far don the road. Plus, everything their management touches is a colossal screw-up (this even extends to Richie ... I STILL haven't gotten my PRE-ORDER from Bandmerch - who blamed Richie's management for not having discs).

I have my priorities in line enough in my life to know that my life shouldn't revolve around a band. I'm just sad that I'm getting to the point where they piss me off this much. And, getting to the point of what Lefetz said ... when you piss off your fans, you're on the road to oblivion.

You Give Love a Bad Name
Whole Lot of Leavin'
Born to Be My Baby
Lost Highway
Raise Your Hands
Runaway
When We Were Beautiful
Superman Tonight
We Got It Goin' On
Bad Medicine / Roadhouse Blues
It's My Life
Love's the Only Rule
Lay Your Hands on Me

I'll Be There for You
Something for the Pain

Someday I'll Be Saturday Night

Encore:
Dry County
Wanted Dead or Alive
Livin' on a Prayer

Hardly any reason to go to more than 1 show. Out of 53 songs played over 2 nights, they played 32 songs. That's not diversity.
32 songs over 2 nights IS a lot of diversity. With average of 25 songs on setlist, even less, that gives about 7 or 8 songs difference from one night to the other. Except for pearl jam or bruce, no one else does that.

I was at the show they did in Newark where they played Lost Highway in full. The crowd hated it. There was one guy behind me who kept yelling, "Play something I know!" I found him rather amusing, but I know I was in the minority because I enjoyed hearing new songs live. He was the voice of the majority. I doubt even SWW in full would go over well with an audience because most of the audience just knows the hits and that's what they're there for.

Considering there's 4 HUGE hits on a 10 song album, 2 other songs are usually loved by the crowd (die for you, wild in the streets), AND this album is mostly owned by casuals. So, I disagree.

Fully agree with this.

You definitely could be right. I just wonder how Without Love would go over. I mean, I love the song and have been wanting to hear it live for going on 30 years now, but does the casual fan care about that song? And Social Disease? That one sounds pretty dated now.
But they might could get away with playing SWW or NJ in full. Maybe These Days in Europe. I just wish they'd mix up the album tracks more all over the world. Maybe if the American audience heard Something to Believe In, they'd think, "Hey, I like that. I think I'll get that album."
