depends where you'll be and what your budget is really. I have a kodak Zi8 which I used in dublin and got some ok videos - good sound and picture, although since I was in GA I had to zoom right in and a mixture of the fact it only has digital zoom which isn't fantastic and I had no way to really steady it all the time meant the picture can be quite jerky.
