WWWB did sound pretty lacklustre listening back. There needs to be some other instrument filling the void on the verses as it sounds too bare.

A song like WWWB live is a bit of a lose/lose situation for the band. Yesterday I think I counted 7 different guitar parts, sometimes going all at once, plus multiple synth stuff. If they play as 5 members, they get shit, if they add people, they get shit. I think the song is just too full of stuff to ever sound full live.

Just watched the show, not bad IMO. WWBTF is just a boring opener and then into WSYCGH makes for an average start at best but it does get better. The other new songs sounded good.

For those wanting to download this, and other radio bits, check out http://www.nerdoftheherd.com/tools/radiodld/

As for the gig, just listened and it was good in parts but pretty awful in others

Anyone else sharing the opinion that Bobby's vocals at the "shalalalas" (WWWB) and the "woohoo" (end of Superman Tonight) sound gay and totally out of place?

The bits in WWWB were just plain awful - the kind of sound you'd cringe at if you heard them coming from the shower, let alone on the stage of one of the world's biggest rock bands!

Just wanted to say that the performance of Prayer from this show reminded me why I used to love the song so much. Best I've heard the song sound in ages. Absolutely mesmerizing stuff there. I hope they do it acoustic on this tour to be honest.

no!!!.
The gay "oh oh" at the end of Superman Tonight are sing by Richie.
You can listen how Bobby sings this part on the acoustic version with Jon available on youtube: Bobby sings it very well
