Im wondering if its just that Jon is ill and struggling and somehow he just remembers LH songs better... so therefore its easier for him to sing them.

I don't think it's about remembering as much as it's about not having to stretch his voice much at all on LH songs versus having to some on most other records. the vocals on LH with the exception of MAM are all pretty easy. If he's ill and having trouble hearing, and his pitch is off a bit, then 5 LH songs makes sense, as much as no diehard wants to hear them.

How do you explain Born to be my baby though? That's a hard, face paced song to sing. If he's Ill then why not just swap say this one for stick to your guns and at least acknowledge the diehards. Same really with Bed if roses, I'd argue this is no mire difficult to sing than say lie to me. Two simple changes there that would have made that show special and stopped bitching threads like this from me

Yea WITW or Stick to your guns would have been miles easier than BTBMB, especially since the latter is uptempo and also requires that he jumps around a bit. If he is ill it certainly makes sense to put more LH songs in there, but it doesnt explain the rest.

Not to come off as defending the band, cause I'm really not trying to, but 4 days ago we were all creaming ourselves over Bucharest's show. I'm not ready to throw the whole leg under the bus after two shitty shows. JMO.

I wasnt. Yes it sounded a great show (Florin said so and I believe him) but there were no WOW songs. Whats happened to all these songs they're gonna play? Cos since Dub night2 theres been nothing to suggest that thats gonna happen, obv hope i'm wrong.

If you check the sets from last years o2 shows every single setlist had at least one Gem for the diehards
