It is the one part of the show that is unpredictable most places... even though I have managed getting Hot Legs at the majority of my shows.

Honestly, BM and Prayer are the only two megahits that still excite me live... throw a cover and some ad lib in the middle of one othem, hell yeah I'll enjoy it.

And yes, there is no comparison, Always or Saturday Night to WDYG or No Apologies. I don't hate the new 4, in fact TMTC is pretty clever. There is just no heart in any of them.

This is the most rational post I've seen in the past few days.

If you check the sets from last years o2 shows every single setlist had at least one Gem for the diehards
I totally agree with you here ....

That's nice to know. And no one cares. I'm having a fun time, thank you very much.

Have to say I'm more looking forward to meeting up with everyone and seeing places than the actual shows at this point. Can only hope they are back in form in the next week.
I am sorry to say that I have moved on already. After the shows in South America I was all pumped up, then little by little and for many reasons (or excuses) depending on which side of the fence you are, things started to go down south for me, I decided to spend my hard earned money elsewhere, and I am not saying I am no longer a fan, because I still listen to their great music.

I think that we got to a point (or I got to a point) where the part of traveling just to meet my friends and go to shows together, without the wow factor of the gigs, is way too much money to continue. So, I don't know. I hope things change during/after the break, but I doubt it. When you have been at it for almost 2 decades, it has to be a bit special from time to time, or it starts to feel stale. haters gonna hate, some people just can't stop living in the past. 1996 says hello, when you are ready you can join us in 2011.

I personally hope the play Lost Highway/The Circle/Bounce in its entirety just to see more people complaining. Why are you upset cause Europe is getting bad setlists? North Americans got bad setlists on the last leg but we didn't complain THAT much. Europe is not any more different or special than any other place whether it be USA, Australia, Zimbabwe, Pakistan or Vietnam.

People just demand and expect awesome setlist because its Europe. Well guess what, it should NOT be an expectation, but rather a plus.

Life's not fair, so be happy that you get to see your fav band playing live, there are many people in the world who would love to see them live but are not fortunate enough either cause of poverty or other reasons. Be thankful

Oh my god, ignorance is bliss I suppose.

It's people like you that sicken me in North America, because your just happy with everything you get. And NONE of us are comparing to 1995/6. Get your complaints straight before you have a go. Be thankful for whatever we get? Okay, I'm sure you'll say that after 10+ Bon Jovi shows.

I'd take the whole LH or The Circle album over just Lost Highway, WGIGO, WFTWM, WWBTF, and Happy Now because I as far as I am concerned those are the worst songs on the albums. Yeah, I'd take the whole albums in order to get Seat Next To You, BrokenPromiseLand, Learn to Love, Thorn, Any Other Day, etc... plus at least it would be different.

I am done with bon jovi in the US other than maybe Chicago. I am certainly done in my own state... which is a shame. I like bringing my friends. Dallas usually has good perforances but the sets are predictable. Oklahoma on the hand, you get shorter, predictable sets from a completely uninterested band.

But if there is a next time, I am going to Canada or Europe.. find a place they are playing back to back shows, go to both and call it a tour. I have wasted too much damn money this tour to have the Bad Medicine medley as the highlight of the show.
The US shows to go to:
*(obviously) NY/NJ
*Mohagan Sun
*Philly
*Chicago
*St. Paul
*Fargo
*Des Moines (although last time with X was only "so so")
*Milwaukee

Granted I'm using biased thinking because I've been to several shows in 5 of these markets (stadium and arena), but think I'm pretty accurate in my list.

Isn't that ironic coming from your mouth? maybe you're just too picky and hard to please. Like I said Europe is not special, nor is any other place but people like YOU make it an expectation that just because they are in Europe that setlists should be like 30 songs with all rarities!!!

It doesn't matter if you go to 10 shows or 100 shows, you are the minority. 99% of the people in the arena WANT to hear the that setlist you don't, that's just how it is. If the same 30,000+ crowd attended every single show then you would have a point and I would completely agree with you.
