When We Were Us was a strange choice. I’ll choose to believe it was selected for the subject matter and not Jon’s obsession with still making relevant songs. If Jon and Richie shared the mic on part of it, then that is cool.

I wonder if Wanted wasn’t played because it’s the ultimate Jon and Richie song, or he realizes he doesn’t sound that good on it anymore. Very surprised they didn’t play the self-proclaimed “Bon Jovi National Anthem.”

Very good points. I strongly believe WWWU was playing for either of these reasons:

a) Jon's obsession with promoting the latest fad (THINFS in this case).
b) The lyrics somehow deal with what's being celebrated tonight.
c) (This is wishful thinking) - Richie is rejoining the band and this is a way of showing it - ok, even I don't believe in me right now.

Regarding Wanted... perhaps the relationship between Richie and Jon is still dire and there's too much nostalgia/lost camaraderie involved in this song ?
