Man, it was awesome perfomance. Saw Jon and Richie before a the video while they were introduced and opened the HOF sign. It was awkward to see their relationship but after saw them on the stage and how Jon was thanked every member and how he and Richie wrote songs and all of the nostalgic moment..I was very happy as a BJ fans. And then they played together all of them WOW it was so emotional moment for all of us.

And then you opened this forum and saw some people moaning and complaining LMAO c'mon guys just for one day be happy for crab sake?LOL

oh well, i dunno what's next but i hope something great will come from this amazing moment between Jon n Richie, hope this won't be the last they get each other again. Maybe write songs together and do nowadays shit such as Bon Jovi feat Sambora, something that done by pop and rap singers nowadays FEAT. bla bla bla..

Anyway, it's great to see them together ...No regret, regardless out of tone or f**ked up solo or anything else, i am going to cherish this moment..

i am gonna raise glass to every Bon Jovi fans in this forum...!

Blablabla more irrelevant facts. Here's my prediction:

1. It's My Life
2. Livin' On A Prayer
3. Wanted Dead Or Alive

Jon's voice will be dire, Richie will **** up a guitar solo and none of it will look anything like the Bon Jovi we hope will show up. The only thing to make things worse will be if the band does a medley.

Anyone else willing to take a guess as to what will happen?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
A little surprised by the song choices...

I would have gone

Wanted Dead Or Alive
Keep The Faith
It's My Life
When We Were Us

A song from each decade ending with the latest incarnation

I don't really mind them playing When We Were Us. It's pretty fitting to be honest - introspective and reflective, and that makes sense for a ceremony like this.

I'm wondering how much editing - if any - will be done on the vocals before this is broadcast on TV.
Doubt it. There's some proshot snippet on Youtube featuring the part before the solo in Prayer, and guess what? No editing, no playback.

I'm pretty sure Jon wrote WWWU precisely for that moment with Richie. The former may be barely capable of singing nowadays and the latter played solos as if he was in an RSO show, but seeing the original band together for the first time in nearly 17 years is better than nothing.

What's the chances of a 2019 European tour with Richie in the band? possibly even Alec on some songs... 35 years since the first album.

Could have Phil X there and drop Shanks.

I would buy tickets for that in a heartbeat.

Definitely more chance now than a week ago. Whether it'll actually happen or not is another story. I can only see it happening on the last ever album/tour though.

I thought Richie's backing vocals on When We Were Us were fantastic. Something that song needs. I wish JBJ could sing it live but he can't unfortunately.

Jon sounded good on Bad Name and IML from what I could make out but WWWU and Prayer sounded really off. I think he may have been trying a bit too hard. Sounded quite forced at times.

For me the fact that they haven’t announced any European date so far must have something to do with the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame admission and the possible rapprochement with Richie, what do you think?

I think that's a far stretch. It'd be awesome if that's the case, but I can't see that happening as Richie keeps mentioning the RSO project and his daughter.
