Credit, to Jon singing on top of it, he could just let the playback do that! I don't know if RHOF performance he could have used playback or not, but shows his determination to give it all. To me it didn't sound too bad, for someone whose voice is shot.

Well yeah, he's butchered that part a lot worse.

People rag on the extra guitarists, but I can tell even from these shitty audience recordings that the sound is so much fuller. Bobby's tone was always terrible and inaudible. I would've loved to have a rhythm guitarist of Phil's (or even Shanks') caliber as a touring musician during their heyday.

Combine that with Jon's voice of old and you would've had an incredible, unstoppable wall of rock.

I have not read all the comments so apologies. Just viewed one of the fan videos.

Thought it was great. Missing a few notes on guitar or as a voice.....jeez these guys are in their 50s and 60s, I have heard sooo much worse from the current Stones and Paul McCartney and also modern young day bands who should still have teh vocal chords and abilities to play their instruments. What I wanted to see how Jon and Richie were on stage. I thought there was genuine interaction between them, the moment after Jon's speech where he puts his arm round Richie and they walk together.....the solo together for Bad Name and even Richie and him singing together during WWWU. The fact that Richie bothered to learn it and sing in it was great and positive. Prayer was great, sod the few off notes, seeing them up there together again was fantastic and maybe, just maybe, they will have a rethink where everyone stands at the moment. I wouldn't drop Phil X if Richie came back mind, let them play together. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't see Richie really congratulate Phil at the end......I mean Phil is up there having a blast, brought new life and energy to the current band and has stepped up to the plate....I would say he is the kind the guy to be sitting in awe of playing with Richie as much as he is loving playing in Bonjovi. Still, a special night!

Is there any videos of the band jam at the end and how that went/what was played?

I for sure heard Phil or Shanks playing the Prayer riff, it was easy to distinguish from the talk box, it was high in the mix but I don't know which was playing it. Looking forward to hearing it in good quality.

I have no love for When We Were Us but I'm glad Phil got a solo. Of course the big take is Richie's stage presence, but I'm hoping that Phil might take something from it and emerge more cos them's the boots he's got to fill. Slightly odd seeing 3 guitarists and 2 bassists on there... I'm assuming we couldn't hear Alec....

I don't want to burst anyone's bubbles, but I couldn't hear richie in When We Were Us at all - the loud BV was Dave I think - it continues when Richie's nowhere near the mic, the lead guitar is Phil.
