Dave was mixed very loud, but I could definitely hear Richie as well. I can't imagine that he just mimed singing and since it was Jon's mic, they couldn't have muted him either.

Richie Sambora Talks Bon Jovi Reunion at Rock Hall

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/n...k-hall-w519141

''Absolutely. The first moment of rehearsal, can you tell me a bit more about that? Was that when you first saw them again?
Yeah, but it's all [in] your body. You gotta remember, I was in that band for 31 years. I played those shows every night. I could do this stuff sleepwalking. ... I have a different energy. People want Coca-Cola, the real thing. That's why they call it the real thing. They want to hear those sounds, that kind of attitude. And the guys that are playing guitar, John Shanks and Phil X, they're both great guitar players in their own right. I was kidding around with Phil, I said to him – they were going onstage the other night, and I said, "Hey, it must suck being me without the chicks and the money." [Laughs] And he started laughing...''

Which bit about "I was kidding around with Phil" did you not understand? Sounds like they were having a laugh with each other. That's a good thing. If it was meant with malice, do you think he would have brought it up in an interview. Richie is constantly joking around with people. That's who he is and who he always has been...

I totally agree with his Coca-Cola comments.

Richie's speech was a Complete Mess btw... He didn't even mention Orianthi... (that's not why I'm saying it was a mess... that's just added)

Richie is absolutely belting out the chorus with Jon in WWWU. The vibrato at the end of "diamonds in the rouuuuuugh" was pure Sambora.

Such a complete Dick...

Phil should have fired back and said, it's better than losing money on your failed solo project with your transvestite looking girlfriend...
