I just went to post something in response to some of the comments and pictures recently posted on the HOF thread and saw that it was closed. Were you planning to bring the comments from that thread over to this one? I ask because this thread is just about the performance Saturday night. The other one had a lot more on it than just the ceremony itself (including our brief shining moment of solidarity).

What's this crazy talk about Wanted not being played, though? Of course it will. And of course Richie and Alec will be showcased as the rest of the original band. Jon is smart and knows how petty and stupid bands look when they fight in such a high profile event. A very public kiss and make up will do wonders for them, what they do behind closed doors won't matter to the average fan.

I'll love love Wanted/LOAP acoustic. Will ease the pain 9f having to listen to IML or Who Says in such event

Nice video! It's good to see Richie and Jon talking to each other in public again.

Richie is on the radio right now. Interesting, the last tour now stands at 62 countries. Playing with the band was like riding a horse because they played 5,000 stadium shows and who knows how many other gigs. He brought Orianthi into the conversation.

First conversation between him and Jon was that it’s about the fans. “We spent 31 years together. It wasn’t awkward.”

He again said he needed time with his daughter.

My coworkers are talking too loud for me to hear. Something about Howard. They said Howard is shy.

He’s looking forward to seeing Brittney from Alabama Shakes.

After this, he’s going to Chicago to edit something they recorded, RSO.

I’m getting ready to go home. So I am stopping here. They are talking RSO stuff.

I'm trying to find out how to bring it over. The intent was to have one with one one for the other but as it ramped up closer to Saturday both were being used and one was asking questions answered on the other. It got indistinguishable and will only get worse and makes less sense to have two.

Doc McGee is being interviewed at the moment. He talked about meeting Johnny (and he referred to him as Johnny every time), the formation of the band. I missed stuff because I was going through the bank drive through and it blocked the signal. He said Johnny went on to hone his craft and make Bon Jovi the biggest band in the world. They talked about the album hitting #1 again through ticket bundles and one host said that solves the problem of the band introducing new material to long time fans. Doc said writers have to write and make new music. It’s what they do. That’s all I can remember. I did not hear the end and was driving while it was on.

PS: Earlier this morning, they said Jon had bought like 10 tables for the event at $100,000 per table.

This is the biggest fan turn out they’ve ever had for the events leading up to a ceremony. Also, many have commented on how Jon seems genuinely happy whereas most riock stars come across like they are too cool to care.

Yeah but it's also about those being inducted and Shanks and Phil X are not amongst them. So I get that point that the inducted members should get their moment.
