How many versions do we need?

I will never get tired of listening to the speeches.

They also overdubbed Richie, didn't they? And his vocals are also a little bit drowned in some parts (he's also singing every third word sometimes, so they needed to fill in the gaps), I hear David more clearly

Edit: I've changed my mind. I can't stop thinking about the real vocals when I'm listening to this (and I amuse myself thinking about how much they sweated trying to fix them), but at the same time THANKS FOR FIXING WWWU. I really really really like the song

Edit: WHAT?? They zoomed in on Phil during the solo, I've watched several times and I've just realized :O

Nothing odd about it. She had nothing to do with anything.

See the HBO performance (RnR HoF), Rio 2017, etc you know what I mean. It sounds like he's singing inside a box, thin quality, etc.

11:54 - 11:58. Looked and sounded like Jon was gonna cry.
CXupping the mic drives me insane. I cringe when I watch him do it. I get that he has his own sound engineers to somewhat fix the damage it does to the sound, but it takes most of the bass from his voice, which is something he still needs with that nasal tone.

boy were those vocals tuned ahahaha. Melodyne is a wonderful piece of software and we, sound engineers (and Jon Bon Jovi) thank the wizards who coded it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look it up.

If we hadn't seen the 'original' live footage back in April, I would have said 'MAN, JON IS BACK!'. Of course there was no way he would have allowed it to be aired as it happened. such a shame that a legendary band has to do this in order to sound this glorious... anyways. The speeches and hugs are all it really mattered, IMO.

Because we need an extra version, this one is the definitive, real HD, one:

A big thanks to Damned TV for the effort

I have never been in a live Bon Jovi show in real life.
It seems like WWWU is pretty good live when your actually in the arena or stadium.

Just watched / listened to the HBO version and Jon's vocals sound amazing!!! I'd like to know how they fixed them and who worked on that? Did they go through a filter? Was each note adjusted manually? Did Jon resing parts in a studio? Fantastic Job!!!

Whatever they did and whoever worked on them should continue forever...

They should also use parts from that as the playbacks for Prayer going forward too...

This was about Richie's time within the band. She has nothing to do with that, Ori didn't even know Richie then. Jon mentioned his wife and kids because she has been there from the very beginning.

She is also his creative partner and band mate. A few of the guys thanked Phil, Shanks, and Bradley.

Being that she's been his GF for the past 4 years and now his creative partner / band mate, a mention is necessary.

But she has nothing to do with Bon Jovi though other than sucking the ex guitarists dilly every other night?
