The induction is NOT about the current band but the legendary one so it's NOT a regular concert when you "invite" those who were fundamental to creating the legacy. It annoys me so much I struggle to find words civil enough!

These are the ones who should play at the ceremony.

Honestly, the sight of Shanks on stage at the Rock Hall will kill the moment for me. Tomorrow should be about the five guys we saw in today’s footage, no one else. For me, the final remnants of the ‘brotherhood’ died when he entered the fray.

At least the Bon Jovi guys are showing up and playing, in whatever fashion. Dire Straits are not even showing up. KISS and GnR (Axl, anyway) didn’t play when they were inducted.

I agree! People, need to realise that it's not going to sound like the 80's early 90's. Alec is 66, so if he makes a mistake, I will forgive. Richie, as well!. Jon as well!

To say John Shanks, Everett Bradley, Hugh and Phil X ruined or will the RHOF performance is nonsense. Ruined, perhaps our "golden" image of the original band together perhaps! But everyone has agreed that Hugh, John Shanks, Everett and Phil X play as well.

Jon, i'm sure worked his damned hardest, but is going to sound no different with Alec and Richie with him, as we heard him since 2013 or the since they came back with Crush really when his high pitch started to decline, you could say 1998 if you watch the band perform for me.

I'm sure Jon will come in for criticism, after the RHOF performance, but his voice is what it is......I will still be a fan.

Should and what Jon decides to do are two different things

Thanks for sharing. On Bon Jovi’s signature plaque David and Jon should be switched if they are supposed to be in alphabetical order. The other plaques, that I saw, are in alphabetical order. Just a weird observation! (Unless I’m totally wrong!)

Going off the body language between Jon and Richie, there is still definitely tension. They wouldn't look or even acknowledge each other.
