Compared to the last time Bon Jovi played New Jersey the band played 30 minutes less with only 1 setlist change compared to previous show in Boston with Runaway added to the encore. Even though Runaway is rare for this tour, Lay Your Hands On Me is the rare song for the night as the last time the band played Lay Your Hands On Me with Jon on vocals was 2007.

The last time Bon Jovi played New Jersey was in October 2016 as the band did a promo show for the This House Is Not For Sale album. Excluding that one, it's been 5 years since the band played a full show in New Jersey. In 2013 the band played 2 very predictable and bland back to back shows at Metlife with little to no setlist changes. After what happened in Milan and Cologne many were hoping for the good stuff, but Always, Dry County and These Days were the rare songs back then. They weren't common songs in the set, but New Jersey had heard 'em all before.

The last time Bon Jovi played real rarities though was 2010 when the band played Just Older, Living In Sin, Diamond Ring, I'd Die For You and Dry County during the third night at Metlife. Remarkably, during the infamous 4th show the band did play an even bigger rare track (Open All Night from Bounce) but back then most of us agreed how it's one of the worst show we'd seen the band play, throwing the theory of "Them giving a little bit extra in New Jersey" right out of the window.

Anyway...
