No questions about the new album in 2019?

Yeah. He said it'll be out probably next year and that he's written a few songs. Tico said he played a new song to them on the plane and it was incredible.

I wonder if it was intended as shade or he was just venting his frustration.

After thinking about it about it for a bit, I'm pretty positive that the feedback from this forum gets to Jon.

Think about it - they had 2 mediocre Japan gigs, and one really bad in Melbourne.

This forum exploded. So many people were unhappy with the setlist, Jon's performing etc.. And all of the sudden we get two completely different shows in Adelaide and Brisbane.

Here's the list of things addressed in literally 2 days:

1) Boring and predictable setlist, especially first part - almost completely revamped
2) WLOL - people really hated it - gone from the setlist
3) Adding some rarities or songs that haven't been played for some time - check (Cpt. Crash, Last Man standing, HAND)
4) Jon performance - he started moving around quite a lot, and the shows became enjoyable again even for stream viewers.

So for this show, I totally expect the trend to continue in a positive direction! Props to Jon for this!

As per this: http://www.bonjovi.com/review-epic-l...l-news-com-au/
and some tweets/retweets of Matt/David, they read "Bon Jovi Updates" twitter (I think they post news, not blatant feedback like here lol)
so the question would be, Do they read JoviTalk???
Who knows, but to me it would be all about, as you say, the things get to JBJ; after all... he is the one who got decisions to make about his/their setlists
