I had a blast. Jon was great. If This is the last time I see them (cos it’s the only reason I went - and I nearly decided not to go after the Japan shows) I’ll Ben happy.

That’s what matters. If you can watch it live and enjoy it, it’s irrelevant what it sounds like on YouTube etc.

I went to Melbourne & Brisbane.. the show is 10 times better as he went.

Sydney was a great show, he sounded good, was happy and put on a great show. When he is “on” he can make 80,000 people feel like they are at a party having fun.

Anyone who wants Bon Jovi Of The 80,90s need to accept this is it, just enjoy it for what it is. A good fun Rock & Roll night out

I personally find it poor/not enough for the last show of a stadium leg but doesn't mean I'm not glad people who spent their hard earned money are happy and enjoyed it!

A very good setlist. I'm happy for everyone who was there.

However, after this I'm 95% sure we'll never hear the likes of Dry County, Always or These Days again (not that I would particularly care about hearing Jon butcher them). Bed Of Roses is the most demanding song he can manage anymore.

EDIT: Balls, the stream's not working for me.

Looks like show's over.
Y'all should check this voice teacher talking about this "phenomenon", this is a video where he analyses famous singers that have changed the way they manage the high notes. Check 5.44 onward

I wholeheartedly recommend the channel

The rollercoaster and WDR clips I just saw on youtube sounded fine, plus he was all over the place.

In my hotel ready for bed. Again, I quite enjoyed tonight.

- YGLABN is a wonderful opener. My first time at a show with it as an opener and it went over great.

- The crowd loved THINFS. I’m so so glad they played roller coaster. It’s my fav song from the album. The crowd in the tiers sat back down during it, but it was great live. Was genuinely surprised that people stood back up for WWBTF. Some were even signing along. I guess lead singles are most memorable after all.

- It’s My Life is such a good song live, especially after a long list of fairly unknown songs. But the mood immediately dies when an unknown song comes after it (this time being God Bless). I really am not a fan of this song, and it’s nothing grand live. Much prefer Ghost - or bloody Born Again Tomorrow

- So glad I got to hear We Don’t Run as well. Was a great performance!

- The hits from BTBMB onwards were so good, especially KTF and BOR. Captain Crash was the only bummer, and the low light of the show. There was a mass exodus during the song for drinks and toilet. Wasn’t happy that Sleep was played (soooooo over that song), but it wasn’t bad.

- Was not ready for Prayer to end the main set. After 9 times seeing the band live, im still blown away by how much this song rocks live. There’s nothing like hearing thousands singing along.

- Was hoping for Always in the encore but it wasn’t meant to be. The encore was strong though, and Jon did well. IBTFY was probably the weakest vocally, but he did well during Saturday night.

- Overall it was a fantastic show, and Jon smashed it. He was smiling, dancing and moving all over the place. Vocally he was much better than the past 2 years. I’m happy.

The difference between the two Japan shows and Melbourne compared with the last three shows is actually ridiculous. Last three were genuinely very good and enjoyable shows, for me at least, whilst the first three were dull in comparison. Hoping Europe gets an energetic and happy jon

It's ridiculous for any singer, professional or amateur.

I can't understand how Jon's high register seems stronger in general compared to his low/middle one nowadays (KTF, BOR, LYHOM, BOB, SIBSN etc).

It's nice to see others prove that it is still possible to really enjoy themselves at these shows. Watching them on YouTube is not a clear indication of what to expect, especially from Jon vocally.
