I first saw the band in 2010 aged 12, and then again at 15. Last night, now at age 20, it feels as though it's come full circle. Quite emotional to see the songs you've grown up with played live by a band that's still able to give any crowd a phenomenal night out.
Yes, you can tell that Jon struggles, but when the band backs him, and the crowd joins in, it really doesn't matter. Additionally, a slight setlist adjustment and lively showmanship from Jon elevates any drab gig to one that feels alive and exciting.
If this is the last time I see the band, I think I can live with it. Great show.
