I don't think there is a better KTF than the studio recording. Jon's vocals on studio are so aggressive.

If you factor in the breakdown in the middle and the extended solo then for sure there are better ones.

To me the ultimate version is the Meadowlands one, OWN tour with the ‘jungle’ screams in the middle section.

I'd personally go for Anaheim 2003, bit yeah that's an awesome one too. And New Jersey 2000!

Switchfoot Plus Skid Row for Austria if I remember correctly, right?
Hmmmm... I would like to go but "I am considering leaving before Bon Jovi" >_< jajajaj

Great one.

To me the best one has to be from 92-93 since his overall vocals were much different and I just LOVE the "Right now you better keep the faith" which was missing 95% of the time.

Regarding the band vs Jon critique, I say that even if yes, without Richie we have lost a source of soulfulness in the musical output, the band is not at all close to being THE problem here.

It is not a matter of whether Jon is more important then the band, maybe he actually isn't : if Tico or even if Hugh underperformed as much as Jon does, we would have a total trainwreck surely. Imagine if half the notes of the bass where wrong or out of rhythm..

Jon's performance is the biggest issue. Because of how far he is from a 'basic' kind of singing.
I hope it goes a bit better in the last shows.

I think that live they make the song sound more tight and I really prefer the bass line by Hugh compared to Alec. If you put the jungle noises in the song and the screams, I don't think it gets better than that. When Jon really loses it
