Nope, that was a translation - very accurate - of one of the press reviews.
That review was actually spot on.

In the last lines of the interview the word 'vote' had to be 'voice' - but I guess you all figured that.

All in all these reviews were fair. They are not commenting on Bon Jovi as an old fashion 80ies band but they wrote an accurate review.

Certainly much more bearable on my ears and his timing and phrasing is still spot on, unlike Jon.

I think it’s safe to say they’re both well past their best.
Elliott sounds like a strangled cat during animal. In fact a cat that’s been ran over then strangled.....twice.

And Jon sounds like a strangled cat that's gasping for air after a marathon. Not much difference.

It is pretty tough though. Wembley was enjoyable and if you look at the show on YouTube it is alright. Munich was not great but not that terrible.

But is it his fault? His fake smiles are but his voice? He did not wake up one day and decided to sound like crap. I still think there are psychological reasons behind it as well.

But if you know your voice is in such a bad shape, why is he touring? There are no benefits for him apart from the money. It was very obvious in the beginning he would be criticized due to his poor vocals. It might be psychological it might be due to his vocal cords. All in all, this tour is a major **** you to the die hard fans who pay a shitload of money for a shitfest. I was lucky to see 2 decent shows. But that’s it.

The psychological aspect might have taken a toll on him, but anyone who understands the basics of singing can tell that he has a physical problem with his vocal chords, which is a result of years and years of abuse without proper technique. Jon had a great voice, but he never had a great technique, hence he blowing his voice several times throughout his career.

I don’t get all this - “ooh it’s psychological, because when he sees a picture of Richie in a swimsuit before a concert his voice gets better” talk. His voice is shot due to overuse over the years without the proper care. Simple as that.

He doesn't really think that he sounds great. At least I hope he doesn't.

Funny exaggeration aside, you do realize that the psychological aspect isn't just a theory dreamed up by a bunch of fans, right? True or not, Jon is the one who has repeatedly said, in one way or another, that he was so devastated by Richie leaving that he "couldn't sing in the shower."

Given the gradual decline in Jon's vocals over the years leading up to 2013, I'm sure you're right about the effect that a lifetime of bad technique, overuse, and abuse had on his voice. At the same time, however, it's hard to deny that the decline after 2013 wasn't even in the same zip code as "gradual". Both Jon's vocals and his stage presence basically dropped off a cliff. So I'm equally sure that there's another big part of the problem that probably is psychological.

Granted, you could debate whether that psychological component truly is about Richie leaving; or if that was a convenient excuse that happened to fit in with the overall theme of the THINFS interviews. But the timing is just too coincidental for me to believe it's not somehow related. JMO.
