No one has asked the most important question.

Did Jon signal the helicopter tonight?!

Dusseldorf has the roof closed, but rumors are that he signaled to his chauffeur near the end of IBTFY to start the car and then rapidly ran back from the catwalk to get the last song done.

Thanks for the info.

Jon signalling to his chauffer rather than his helicopter pilot is a major shake up to the show.

I don't know what people are complaining about

Last night was the second show for me this tour after Wembley. I had originally planned to go to London only but the Wembley show was so great that I decided I'd attend a second show. After all, this might as well be their last tour. Ok, that might be said for every tour but you can feel it's coming these days.
Despite the way too expected setlist (one change only from Wembley, IBTFY taking Always' spot) I had a good time. From a casual point of view, the show had everything it needed to.
For us die-hards, it's a pity there's no more change in the setlist but in my opinion, going to a show complaining about the setlist is as relevant as complaining about Jon's voice. It is what it is and you know what you buy when purchasing your ticket.
More specifically about last night, roof closed, great singing crowd and backing vocals from the band so I couldn't properly hear Jon which is not necessarily a bad thing. Phil X was great again, he brings so much fun and energy to the band. Good addition.
Jon was probably on autopilot but this man can front a band, for sure. We don't run works surprisingly well live and Bad Medecine should be left aside, Jon sounds horrendous on this one. This is discussed on every show thread but I don't get why Jon keeps singing Amen, such a vibe killer, while I can do with WLOLGO and Lost Highway (this one I always thought does it live).
About Def Leppard, I like the band and enjoyed their performance but although Joe is a better singer than Jon these days (thought some parts sounded lipsynched but maybe it's juste me), I think the difference between him and Jon as frontmen is tremendous. Jon overwhelms him.
Finally, I get back to Paris happy. Should Wembley and Düsseldorf be my last BJ shows, that would be cool memories. Better than BWC tour in my opinion.

For me it’s the setlists that are so annoying.
Becoming like ac/dc with one change per show.
Nothing for die yards. Jon’s just making the casual fan happy.
I’d rather him butcher something like damned or hey god than hear whole lot of leavin, lost highway or capt crash sung note perfect.

I get that. Not going that back in time, they could throw in TWTWMM, great opener last tour and only song I still listen to every now and then in What About Now.
They should definetely ditch Amen and WLOLGO, that would make two spots available for something else every show. I understand they keep LH and CC since they don't seem to be voice demanding and work live with the audience (from what I can tell).

Show started pretty well, then was getting tired. But then JBJ came back with I’ll Be There For You for the encore. Those Amen’s are definitely playback, and Prayer chorus sounded very weird too. I enjoyed the show for moments and songs. It was fun overall.

PS What happened to Zakatar? He lost his mind?

What was wrong with Berlin 2013? And obviously, it's no comparison, since Jon could still sing back then...

Yeah, I don't think any playback is on Amen. The Anfield show, JBJ ****ed the long note up on the second chorus (I think) and I couldn't hear anything. It's definitely all him with nothing behind.
