The thing is though: without Richie it is NOT Bon Jovi, it is now Jon and friends, so there is no live legacy to ruin because they are not a real band anymore. My friend says there were some pretty bad moments in the vocals but it was a good
farewell for her. She also said that Jon has to delivier better vocals if he doesn't want to be bashed in Wembley, Dubln or Munich.

Regarding Wanted being dropped. It has never been on the regular set so it wasn't planned in advance
Well, that's open for debate, in my opinion (and has been debated a lot of the years). For me, it's Bon Jovi, as long as it's Jon and at least 1-2 other original members. Jon & the KOS are NOT Bon Jovi, but Jon, Tico, David and Hugh combined are. Richie chose not to be there, but that doesn't make it not Bon Jovi, however big his role in the band has been.

Yes I thought the same, unless they didn't know until after they'd played I'd die for you. Probably just made up but I read it on twitter by someone that said the show was one of the best they'd seen in years so thought I'd share anyway.

They must have had some good drinks.

Like me, hah!
Anyway go to Facebook and read the comments on Bon Jovi's fb page. They loved it. Oh, and I saw someone is asking for God Bless for tomorrow's show.
Of course you're absolutely right, it's just good to see those comments on fb.

I don't get this. Hasn't it always been on the printed setlist?

It was on the printed setlist.
Some comments from a fan on a German board who went there last night:
They weren't close to the curfew, so it was dropped for other reasons.
People were at first clapping and singing along, but the longer the concert went, the more casuals seemed to be confused by Jon's subpar vocals and started talking about it. Plus she said that Shanks shouldn't be anywhere near that stage and that other fans in the GC could be heard saying the same.

So look at this regarding last nights show...

She replied to a tweet saying that this show was awful and that they are worried for their show they are going to..

Look at her reply, my reply then her reply.

He sounds like he should have in his age so if you are a real fan you will appreciate it

@iam_emmo
So you’re not a real fan if you think he can no longer sing? Truth is he can’t. Been a fan 35 years and saw the glory years. In 2019 he’s finished.

I'll stick to him not every time you get to see your best band preforming so I really love to see him even if he puts on a playback

This is what you are a dealing with - people who will defend JBJ to the hilt and will even accept play back the ENTIRE show!

For many people Jon is a substitute for a higher power they can worship, I leave it at that.
