I heard ‘Roller Coaster’ for the first time yesterday. It sounded similar to a song by The Vaccines. Don’t like them and didn’t like the song!

It's ironic that a song about something as thrilling as a rollercoaster sounds so boring.

Jon should have named it 'Supermarket Trolley'.

Haha just imagined then singing that as a chorus and big animations of trolleys flashing up on all screens. Sounds like fun to watch

A video of Jon pushing a trolley with Tico sitting in the little baby seat

Haha.

I'm surprised Leonard Cohen didn't sue Jon because it's a copy if hallelujah. Not a good copy either.

I honestly got goosebumps watching this. Is it perfect? Obviously not. Does that matter? To be honest, no. That's a man trying ****ing hard. It was listenable for most of it and I enjoyed hearing it live again. I'm actually hoping I get to hear it this week when I didn't particularly want too!

Made up for Jon, to be honest.

I feel absolutely nothing and that's the problem with this band.

Vocally it was OK, I've certainly heard much worse. Yes, I had to stop halfway through the solo, but I don't like how Phil plays anything that's not from the 80s, so I'd consider this all a decent effort but I wouldn't listen to this performance again, or any other from this tour. They leave me absolutely cold. I want to at least feel a sparkle here and there but I feel apathy which is the worst feeling of all.

I've clicked on this song randomly as I'm not following the European leg closely, I don't know if there's been better songs (a quick look at the setlists tells me that no, this is the worst BJ Europe has ever seen), don't know if Jon is putting a decent effort or not, that's the thing, I wish I cared, but I don't. I watch snippets here and there and I can't believe this is my band. More like was. Some days I even feel like a coward abandoning ship but then I remember Jon is a gazillionaire and he's doing more than fine so...

I wish I could at least participate here but a BJ tour is the last thing in my mind for the first time in 25 years.

Oh well. Enjoy anyway

Nothing to be ashamed of, they were with me for the better part of the last 15 years and I feel that it's rapidly running to an end as well. Once you find a new band that gives you the joy and excitement you had when you became a BJ fan, it's hard to hold on to something that doesn't give you that pleasure anymore.

Two 1 minute pro shot video's from the first two songs.

And since everything you read on the internet is true 'Raise Your Hands' was recorded in 2014

Bon Jovi doesn't spark joy anymore

But who am I kidding. They put together a song like WWWU in like 5 minutes and I fall for it, even *I* could somewhat enjoy this tour as a guilty pleasure if they wanted to. They clearly don't, as they keep this nightmare of a setlist and improve it (read: make it even worse) with every leg.

I can't imagine going through the motions for 3 years with a couple of timid changes here and there when you have all the money in the world.

*sigh*
