Wow, what happened? I'm impressed (also by Sat Night in Dublin). Now if anyone still wants to deny improvement on Jon's part, go ahead

Yes, he has improved - but unfortunately, only from "embarrassing" to "very poor". His middle range is still pretty much a train wreck and although he can hit some of the higher notes better than in the last couple of years, he's still not singing them, but shouting.

The last few performances have been far from very poor according to people who have been at the gigs.

That's not what he's saying though. The shows have been great because Jon the performer is back. His vocals are still pretty weak. Listen to Make a memory from night 2 for proof of that

Yeah, exactly. When I read all those enthusiastic reviews, I thought hell froze over and Jon's voice is back. I watched the vids from the last shows and... guess I'd expected a miracle He certainly moves around way more and seems to be enjoying himself but saying that Jon is back is a bit of an exaggeration IMHO. And with all my love for Memory, I'd rather not hear it live when I'm at the gig...

I will judge for myself when i am there on Friday, a lot of people are saying that once you are there its a much more enjoyable experience than dissecting YouTube videos (i am guilty of this too) and looking for errors.

But you know that our "vocal expert" has to analyze and dissect every note from Jon around here. We all know that his voice is done and that it won't change more than a few per cent up and down anymore. I don't like watching these videos on Youtube either, but I'm simply past the point of doing so and then explaining how bad it is. It's gotten tiring.

Yeah, I'll be attending the Warsaw gig so I'll judge it for myself, too. Actually can't wait to do so!
