A lot of truth spoken here. Guess some things are just highly subjective. I know a guy who used to be pretty harsh towards the band as it is now but after going to their gig AND enjoying it, it's suddenly a turn of 180 degrees in his attitude. It's an interesting phenomenon to see other people reacting in such a way, too, while YT vids aren't that much different.
A friend of mine commented on it like that:
Even if he miraculously got his 1992 voice back, I wouldn't be interested in a JBJ/Friends show. But that's just me. I can't relate to people who think he should be praised for moving around on stage and sounding better-than-awful. Saw that comment the other day from that nutty girl who said people shouldn't criticize his voice and just be grateful he's "not a bad person." WHUT?

Jon IS trying to get his mojo back. Some shows are better, some worse. Once you realize Bon Jovi isn't the band it used to be, it's easier to accept so many changes. The band changed DRASTICALLY. There's no old Jon back because there's no old band back. It's a magic combination of four people, not just a matter of Jon's good mood at a given day. But then you go online and read all those comments and 99% of them are ALL about Jon. Fair enough.
