Jons voice was bad on a couple songs but overall he sounded pretty good by todays standards butI was too caught up in the moment to care about his voice. He was in full showman form and the band were great. I loved Phil tonight.
My brothers girlfriend had never seen them live before tonight and she absolutely loved it. She really loved Phils playing.
I was very surprised at just the one House song but it made way for a decent hits set.
The production was great. The stage design is simple but it works. The effects on the screens look great.
Hopefully we get a few surprises tomorrow. We held back a fair bit in gold circle tonight but the atmosphere was still great. The plan is being closer tomorrow night so the atmosphere should be even better.

Just back from Dublin. I thought it was a great show, no big surprises but highlights for me included I'll be There for You, Blood on Blood, and These Days. LYHOM was a crowd pleaser as usual, as was Captain Crash, great atmosphere where I was at the top of the gold circle. I could also hear the crowd from the back of the stadium too, so seems like everyone was having a great night. The stage and big screens are fantastic, the sound was great from where I was too. Jon was in great form, moving around a lot on the stage but only came down to the end of the ramp once. I have to say Phil X was amazing! He looked liked he was enjoying every minute. I'll be back in Dublin again for night 2 tomorrow so hoping we get a few change-ups to the set.

Jesus Christ man will you quit it with this shit?!

Slane is not in Dublin. That's the facts.

Just because some Americans who run bonjovi.com or drycounty.com think Dublin is the whole of Ireland doesn't validate your point.

You're wrong and keep arguing that you're not.

Pathetic.

You are missing the point. Regardless of where it is actually geographically located, it was considered the Dublin show that tour. That's the facts. I posted the proof.

What's pathetic is your post initially had a go at Jackie for her "generic" comment and then you edited it to have a go at me instead. Lmao

P.S. drycounty.com is not run by Americans

Hmm I’m kinda torn on this one. Enjoyed some parts but definitely not all of it. Amen was horrible - it’s too obvious that the full chorus is playback. Also Blood in Blood was painful, flat and out of tune. After Blood on Blood his voice was gone.

Jon sounded good the first songs though although he struggled with Lost Highway. Overall I think the show in Nijmegen was better than this show. I hope tonight will be better.

I hope Jon will use his batphone once more to call Bobby because he is needed. Shanks is a trainwreck his solos are awful. He is playing gorgeous guitars but his sound is shit. Hell I’m missing Bobby’s solo during In These Arms.
