Jon sounded good the first songs though although he struggled with Lost Highway. Overall I think the show in Nijmegen was better than this show. I hope tonight will be better.

I hope Jon will use his batphone once more to call Bobby because he is needed. Shanks is a trainwreck his solos are awful. He is playing gorgeous guitars but his sound is shit. Hell I’m missing Bobby’s solo during In These Arms.
Thanks for the honest review, it's a big statement missing Bobby B but I totally agree in having him over Shanks. For me there is no place for him on that stage. Bobby was part of the live shows from 2005?.. his vocals helped a lot too.

Jon is still THE frontman. Yeah vocals were off a bit in places but still a great experience. He had the crowd eating out of his hand. Shanks is pointless but I was impressed with Phil X. Roll on night 2!

Shanks should only be rhythm guitar if he has to be there, no need for him to play any solos.

Glad you enjoyed it, I am doing Wembley and Coventry so will be interesting how both of those compare..

He must dislike Bounce , the Circle, What about not and This House as hardly anything gets played.

To be fair The Circle is awful and what I’ve heard of What About Now is a thoroughly miserable experience.

you aren't wrong but picking the same song from what about now and the Circle each not is boring.. because we can, what's left of me, the fighter, Loves the only rule, superman tonight, when we were beautiful, bounce, the distance, everyday, just older, next 100 years... any of these could be rotated in and add something different, it's a very lazy set list this tour.

The last time Bon Jovi played in Dublin was on June 30, 2011, during The Circle Tour. The setlist was as follows:

01. Bounce
02. You Give Love a Bad Name
03. We Weren't Born to Follow
04. Lost Highway
05. Happy Now
06. In These Arms
07. It's My Life
08. Blaze of Glory
09. Damned
10. Raise Your Hands
11. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead [w/ Snippet of Start Me Up]
12. Bad Medicine [w/ Snippets of Roadhouse Blues and Vertigo]
13. (You Want to) Make a Memory
14. I'll Be There For You
15. Never Say Goodbye [Acoustic]
16. Squeeze Box [The Who cover, Acoustic]
17. Love For Sale [Acoustic]
18. Who Says You Can't Go Home
19. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night
20. Blood on Blood

22. Keep the Faith
---------------------------------------------------
23. Hey God
24. Wanted Dead or Alive
25. I Love This Town
26. Livin' on a Prayer
---------------------------------------------------
27. Always
28. Love's the Only Rule

I'm definitely not expecting anything like this for either of the 2019 shows.

2019 Setlist:

01. This House is Not For Sale
02. Raise Your Hands
03. You Give Love a Bad Name
04. Born to Be My Baby
05. Whole Lot of Leavin'
06. Lost Highway
07. Runaway
08. We Weren't Born to Follow
09. Have a Nice Day
10. Keep the Faith
11. Amen
12. I'll Be There For You
13. In These Arms
14. It's My Life
15. Blood on Blood
16. Wanted Dead or Alive
17. Lay Your Hands on Me
18. Captain Crash & the Beauty Queen From Mars
19. Who Says You Can't Go Home
20. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
21. Bad Medicine
--------------------------------------------------
22. These Days
23. Livin' on a Prayer

...

It's such a shame he can't mix it up, rather than the same basic set we've had for years... below isn't impossible...

01. New Years Day
02. Raise Your Hands
03. You Give Love a Bad Name
04. Born To Be My Baby
05. In These Arms
06. This House is Not For Sale
07. Runaway
08. Lost Highway
09. Have a Nice Day
10. Keep the Faith
11. The Fighter
12. I'll Be There For You
13. It's My Life
14. We Don't Run
15. Wanted Dead or Alive
16. Lay Your Hands on Me
17. Everyday
18. Who Says You Can't Go Home
19. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
20. Bad Medicine
--------------------------------------------------
21. Next 100 Years
22. These Days
23. Livin' on a Prayer
