Yes, it's awful. Just because he sounds like a broken record doesn't mean Jon's suddenly better because you've adjusted your expectations. Nowadays you can't play a video of Bon Jovi, ask anyone to rate the singing and expect them not to ask them to turn it off. Because yes, it's that bad. Sometimes I envy those who don't hear it. Being a Bon Jovi fan must be so much easier?

No, it's because he hasn't learned how to sing this song with whatever's left of his vocal chords nowadays. He's learned what note to dodge, skip or screech in Bad Medicine and is therefore able to walk around. Once he's performed These Days 40 times (yeah right) he'll do the same thing. The only reason why they're not mixing it up is because Jon just can't sing any other song.

My prediction for tonight's show/thread and all the other following European dates:

"Dear God, his singing is completely off. There's no saving anymore. Jon's done. Look at this performance from 2013, that was the last good one because he sustained that high G#24 several times. In fact, there was a similar occasion in Taipeh 2015 where he somewhat hit an F#99..."

This alone shows how much the band, specially Jon, have deteriorated over the last few years. Take a look at the 2010-2011 pbp’s, there’s a lot less of this. Why ? Because there were so many good things to talk about.

I've seen old threads from 2010-11, people were still moaning about Jon's vocals, maybe less than now, even though they were actually good at the time.

It was way less. Take a look at the european shows threads, some of which have more than 80 pages.

Since 2013 Jon sounds horrible, and he’s not getting any better. So if one doesn’t want to read about it every show, maybe it’s time to join backstage.

This is a message board, so people are entitled to their opinion as many times as he/she wants. If it bothers you, ignore it or don’t visit anymore. Simple !

Nah. Sure, some people mentioned the decline in Jon's voice compared to 2010 but the overal focus on these PBP's were mostly about the excitement when Always was given it's 40th outing on that tour. There were no real complaints, just some ridiculing or observations. This was a time when Dry County and These Days were the ultimate rarity anymore. You honestly never knew which song would show up in the encore. I remember the 2011 tour as the best one the band's done since 1996. Even a bog standard show was still just so much fun because Jon was capable of singing the songs.

Well, I've never shoved my opinion down people's throats. I just agree with some other users that Jon doesn't sound good anymore and I'm not bitching about it.

When someone says: “Jon was able to hit XX note, Jon is moving around more...” , that’s a civilized way of stating an opinion with arguments, which contributes to the debate. But when one replies “quit bitching” , it doesn’t add anything to a civilized discussion.
