I'm sure Jon will be back to a decent level in a few concerts time, he just needs to sort some things out as his in a singers confidence loop.

Jon is at his best when he is relaxed and is enjoying the show and the voice follows. The trouble is, if his voice gives, he tenses up, grips the Mic harder, his shoulder raise and he trys to put a bit more effort in. This tensing up is also tensing up his throat, and the vicious circle begins until later on in the show, his loses range and power. This is why he is shrugging his shoulders up and down alot and doing lots of movement shaking his arms out. This will be vocal training telling him to relax, because once it moves up into your throat, its hard coming back from it and its a damn vicious circle.

Take a look back in 2018, Jon came back to better form, and his at his best when his happy, relaxed and the movement begins around the stage. This will happen again.

Keep the faith everyone.

Mabs

I love your optimism.
...and there's nothing I can add to this... Well, I wish you were right!
Anyway I'm going totally off-topic, I'm just hoping they'll play Love's the Only Rule in Vienna. Odds seems to be pretty good right now, at about 0,00%.

This might be the worst vocal performance by Jon I've ever heard. And I'm not kidding. Take a listen.

No, being a Bon Jovi fan was always hard to begin with, and it certainly hasn't gotten any easier, albeit for different reasons.

And yes, of course I can hear it. It's just that I have the opinion that he has indeed improved. Not to the level most people around here would like or consider enough to provide a bearable vocal performance, but he has improved. Will he further improve or decline again (it's always been ups and downs)? Only time will tell...

Not to mention that it didn't sound any better in person. As I said, Jon should've ended the main set with Blood On Blood.

Agreed. That was painfully bad.

Yeah, that was awful. He didn't even sing for the most part, and what he mumbled was off key or out of breath. Sad to see...

Jon WTF mate.

Whole song felt like way off.

Sooner or later Jon might turn to Axl and leave the stage under solos :P

But yet again Jon doesn't have Duff nor Slash to keep the show and the enthusiasm going on, he got Shanks and Phil X and even if Phil is capable of delivering some nice solos by improvising, well Shanks on the other hand...

Wow. That’s a new low for him. I wonder why he doesn’t play 2 hours sets instead of the average 2:30 hours. It would really help him survive the shows, which is something he’s not being able to.

Are they playing 2.30 shows? I'm sure on a set list the other day it said 117 mins?
