Really wish I’d gone to this show now. Seen them at Wembley ‘95. Silly not to have seen this gig once I’d decided to watch them again.

Noticed a few comments on Twitter and Jay has mentioned this also. Could this be the last we see of Tico on tour?

Losing Richie was bad enough. Not sure I could take a replacement Tico.

Edit: Just realised the Tico thing is being discussed in another thread!

I'm happy to hear many of you had a great time and also that for someone was a moment of "renewed faith" in this band and I hate to bring in some negativity but for me it was just OK.

Yes I've enjoyed myself but I didn't leave in awe like I usually do at the shows of the artists I love.

I liked the performace except for a few songs played way too slow, Lost Highway and Born To Follow especially (even though I liked the "new" ending on this one) so that was not the main issue.

My disappointment comes from the setlist and attitude. 22 songs is just meh.. (Yeah I know Coventry got 20 last night but still), adding a couple more wouldn't have hurt. Talking about song selection, I think no one expected some obscure rarities from the boxset or 7800 cause it's Wembley and all the critics were there so we all knew a GH setlist was coming, so please at least play ITA and I'll Be There as it was originally planned.

Regarding the attitude, my last show was Milan 6 years ago and on Friday I thought I was in front of a different person. That was not the same JBJ. Yes the same old jokes and banters were there but to me there was something missing. Spontainety. Those little things that make a show unique, like the covers in Sleep or Medicine, or some ad lib here and there or some interaction with the crowd.

Maybe it's just me having too high standards because of the unreal shows I've witnessed in the past, and I am very well aware this is not 2011 or even 2013 anymore, but I didnt leave 100% happy.

Let's see if i change my mind in Zurich in 2 weeks.

Always certainly did feel special on Friday. The atmosphere, under the lights, everyone singing along, arms up in the air or around the shoulders of the people they’d come with. Just one of those events when you have 80,000 people living and breathing that moment together. Very special.

It just takes one song, one moment like this to make or break a gig.

This hit me in the feels, Jon gives so much effort and Phil does the song justice no doubt about that.

Also did Jon Shanks tear up at 7:30?

It was great on the night and this proved it.
Think the end blew Jon’s voice hence why there was only one more song after.

Wow.

JBJ must've felt more than happy, while obviously exhausted, after this performance. I genuinely didn't think he'd have it in himself to ever pull Always off like that again.

Step aside, Greenville and Toronto - we have a definite winner.
