I was at Wembley and during IBTFY I grabbed my child's hand and he looked at me with tears in his eyes and cried "Who are you?! Where is my real daddy!?"

I think that you should take him to speech therapy. For a 2-year old, he seems to have a very limited vocabulary. I've heard one-year olds express themselves more precisely!

Yes, I fear we might have to. I first became concerned when it took him a whole week to read war and peace!
