What made you think in this way? Why would not jon want better sounding guitar players? PhilX is doing his best in my opinion.
I see everyone judges the shows by jon's performance, for me tico torres is the primary reason to see bon jovi live. I also play drums and I can't get enough of watching and hearing tico playing. I went to two shows in 2011, tico and richie sambora created the memorable moments for me. Especially the outro of always
I am sure there are still many other things to enjoy in a bon jovi show. If I have a chance I want to see them either in werchter or bucharest. I think It would definitely worth any effort.
