No,it wasnt.
It was due to logistics and economical issues of the contract.
Spanish dates were announced later April, just one month before the tour started.
Spain was not on the list of the tour, but Jon wanted to play here because of the free accoustic show in Barcelona in 2002,so thats why the shows were announced so late, and I guess due to economical issues they didnt bring the stage.
Barcelona show was an indoor, but Madrid one was at the same stadium where they are playing that THINFS tour before it was rebuilt.
In 2003 Bruce played the day before Bon Jovi in Madrid so BJ used Bruces stage adding their OWN arenas kit.

But Wanda Metropolitano and Vicente Calderon are two different stadiums (which belong to the same team of course), are they nearby cause I thought they were in different locations. Also Wanda is bigger than Calderon if i'm not mistaken.

Real Madrid would never allow a concert at Bernabeu unless it was considered for a major cup final where they wouldn't participate and avoid Barca lifting any trophy in their home ground

In 2003 they didnt played at Vicente Calderon, they played at La Peineta Stadium
Wanda Metropolitano was built over the old La Peineta Stadium.
Wanda Metropolitano is in the outskirts of the city, very far from the Vicente Calderon, you can only go by underground, and yes,Wanda is much bigger than Vicente Calderon.

When is the concert's starting time? An official online hookup? We need to coordinate it globally. Talk about Bon Jovi memories -- I had to get up at 3AM to watch the Asian mini-tour shows!

From memory Moscow is 3 hours ahead of GMT, with the show probably starting at 8ish. I wouldn't take my word on that by its my guess.

The band is stated to start at 8:30 pm Moscow time (GMT +2). The first of two warm-up bands starts at 6:15 pm.

I’m hoping (not expecting) the sound will be louder than previous tours. I’m not expecting Judas Priest levels but shouldn’t the main act be at least as loud as their support?

It’s bothered me since the second leg of the TD tour how much the sound has quietened. Anyone else notice this?

By the looks of it, Moscow is getting a local generic stage set, which is a disgrace. If they don't bring their new stage in Bucharest in July, I'll be disappointed. The Cure are scheduled to play at the same square on the very next day (July 22) and the event is organized by the same promoter. I have asked them what stage Jovi will use for the Romanian show so I know whether to exercise my refund option with Eventim or not.

Now don't be daft. You can't exercise a refund option because a band isn't bringing a certain stage with them.
