They very well could (and should) this time too, considering it's on a Saturday and most people won't have work. I take it Mohegan's curfew is at 10:30ish since people seem to be complaining about it here more than for other venues?

For the record, it's not just Bon Jovi shows that suck there. All shows suck. Shorter set and a complete dead audience. Half the crowd are gamblers who were comped their tickets.

As to why - Because despite it all, this is my band. I've been a fan for over 30 years. I know the end is near for them. And as much as I bitch this band on a bad day is still better than most bands on a good one.

Just ditch the opening act.

If you've got to make up excuses for yourself as to why you're going should you go at all? I honestly don't mean any offense by this but the excuse in regards to them not being there forever makes no sense to me as the band you liked and loved died about 7 years ago. They aren't there anymore, this substitute you've got now looks and sounds nothing like the real thing and does sound like a bad coverband most of the time, and yet here you are, shelling out the big bucks for a show you know will have a shitty setlist, will have poor vocals, awful guitar solo's all in a venue you hate. I really, really don't get it.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

No, it really isn't, regarding the highlighted part.

It'd be a very big challenge to find a band that sounds worse when you compare studio recordings vs. life performances than today's Bon Jovi. KISS is one that comes to mind, but that's about it. All the other ones I can think of are clearly better live in 2018.

It's good if you still enjoy the show (have fun there!), but that statement was just factually wrong.

I don't totally get it either. For the record, just the arena sucks. The casino itself is a great time with great food and great places to drink. I enjoy going there. Suppose I just get suckered in by the nostalgic love I have for the band, and now, what's left of it.

Hoping that Jon continues to mix the setlist, and if he feels up to it, maybe play one of the audibles from the last show. Considering that I don't have school until Tuesday, I'll try to stick around for the show.
