The 'Paid Extortionate Prices But Am Going To The O2 Shows' Thread

Got my tickets for Sunday 13th - to the side but as there are seats behind the stage I am assuming they will do somewhat of a 360 degree show at times.

The O2 website was down at times but once through to Ticketmaster it was fast as anything.

8 months to go...

I'm looking forward to going, there are at least 6 of us in total, and as its all seated we wont have to rush to get there, we'll have a wicked day in the bars etc beforehand.

managed to get ticekts for night 1,4 and 5, got no money left but hey im happy, most are chepap seats but got A2 for night 1, cant wait.

Really looking forward to it too - I got cheap seats too, if you consider £45 plus fees cheap! I had a great time in the cheap seats in 2007 so I'm looking forward to having a great time again.

Spent £85 to sit at the back of the stadium (floor.)

Or i can be in BLOCK A for £215.

I've got to be honest, mixed feelings right now.. mixed feelings.


(Realised that i'm listening to Jovi whilst on the net right now, and have been for the past hour.. just can't stop listening to them although they've taken all my money!)

Block 107 for the thursday and 112 for the friday.

I feel dirty though.

At least i don't have to miss a day of work to queue

I got front row top tier, overlooking the stage for £75, to be honest I was not going to go, especially when I considered my Hyde Park gold tickets were only £45.

However, due to me making my entire family Bon Jovi fans, and only two of us went to the last O2 gig, everyone else insisted.

So I am there on the Sunday.

block 113 85 with booking. I dont have mixed feelings , the band has sold us out.

I managed to get block A2 on Friday, was a bit dumbfounded when the prices came up however if I'd purchased tickets in the front blocks from Ebay I'd have no doubt paid a lot more. I remember last time some of the A block tickets were going for close to a £1000 on there, so from that point of view I'd prefer BJ get the money than the evil touts.

I then got some more "reasonable" £75 tickets for Sunday (Block 102) which now comparatably seem quite reasonable

I've had to put my credit card in the freezer!

I did the same. Was a bit worried about the side view but I reckon it'll be OK. I'm taking a friend along and was more concerned about getting her a decent seat. If it was just me on my own I'd have been happy to be stuck in the nosebleeds
