Default The Pit/Ramped Area

Okay, Captain_jovi and I are doing a little research to help us make concert plans.

How big is the pit? Like, we've seen how wide it is, but anyone know how many people it's supposed to hold? And how far back does it go - like, if you are in the first row of people outside the pit at the peak of the ramp, about how many rows back would you estimate it as?

Also, any backstagers wanna volunteer to let me beat them up, steal their inner circle ticket and membership card, and be grateful for the opportunity? Eh? Anyone?

Good idea.

And how many people does that first Germany venue hold? Then we check how much the montreal place holds and do the math. Badly.

I'm also wondering the same thing I have GA for Philly on 7/15. I've called new era(ticket agency that sold the tickets for the show) and the last time I called the woman said that they didn't have an exact number as to how many people are in the pit, it will be full but not to the point that we can't see anything or be able to move(if that makes any sense at all) I'm gonna keep calling them periodically to see if they have anything numbers for the pit

the seating chart for philly the GA pit looks smaller than what it would be at giants.......I know for the baseball games at citizens bank park it holds 43,500 people not sure the capacity for concerts since Buffet has been the only other person to play a show there and I haven't found any numbers on that

Thanks for the help. I'm looking at pics of the germany stage and the pit is MASSIVE. There isn't that big of a price difference between pit and non pit for montreal and Im sure it holds less, so we're trying to find out how early to get in line, etc.

have you found more pics from Germany? I'd like to find some actual pictures from fans who were in the GA pit. yeah its making me a bit nervous from looking at the pics that have come out so far to see how big the pit actually is. I've heard for philly that some FC members might actually start lining up around 6am that day which is nuts but if its all GA like Montreal that I'd do it for that

Are you saying 6 am is a good time to line up? Our tickets aren't in the pit, keep in mind.

oops my bad i thought you were in the pit. I'm not sure how early to line up since the only time I've ever been to a GA show were the ones I worked at school. I'm sure there will be more info on what time they will allow people to start lining up

philly only has the GA pit everything else is reserved I only know that some fanclub people are lining up that early cuz they want to be in the very front

It depends on the size of the venue. We were 1.000 fanclub members that got into the pit in Düsseldorf and they filled it up a little bit with generel audience but not that it was really packed. I heard the No. of 1.500 spots in the pit.

Any clue how much the venue holds in general?
