Default Dont Laugh... just enjoy

Ok, here’s mine... no body laugh... remember it’s the set list of our dreams,
So I figure that special guests and massive encores are ok.... I’m sure someone in history has done a four hour show! Well enjoy thinking about this:

ANDREW WK opens… a brief song by the Rolling Stones is played on the big screens continuing the Wembly joke

Lights go completely out.....whole band goes on stage while no one can see them... you hear Jon say " Patrick Hit the lights" simultaneously starting the set list:

The Boys Are Back In Town
Prayer
Bad Name
Only Lonely
Shot Through The Heart (Cher sings the intro with Richie... Heather gives permission!)
Santa Fe (Jeff Beck takes lead guitar as Richie helps sing lead vocals)
Undiscovered Soul
Wild Is the Wind
Why Aren’t You Dead
Out Laws of Love

MASSIVE ARENA SET (Not a medley... just no breaks between songs with Desmond Child helping in the band):
Bounce
OWN
It’s My Life
Wild In the Streets
Raise Your Hands
Comeback
Id Die For You
Have a Nice Day
Music stops.... Jon looks around gives some nods, tells the crowd he’s a
Bad A&R man and says:"Thanks for waiting"
EDGE OF A BROKEN HEART

ACOUSTIC SET: Whole band comes out Ala U2 in the center of the arena

Kidnap an Angel
Blood Money
Love For Sale
Right Side of Wrong
Destination Anywhere
Ride Cowboy Ride
Lunar Eclipse (Dave solo)
Wanted

BACK TO THE STAGE:

Dry County
Real Life
Complicated
Always
Saturday Night
In These Arms
I Believe
These Days
Something To Believe In
I Don't Like Mondays (Bob Geldof comes on to duet)

ENCORE 1:
Love is War (Living in Sin B-side)
Out of Bounds
Novocain
Nuerotica

ENCORE 2:
Secret Dreams
Never Say Die (Richie Takes Lead)
Mr. Bluesman (Eric Clapton guests on lead guitar)
Blame It On Love Rock and Roll
Medicine/Shout

Encore 3:
WSYCGH (Sugarland comes on still shaking from Crossroad on CMT and duets)
All guests come out to help with an Encore of Prayer.

Never Say Goodbye played over PA System as fans Exit

Audience to go into shock of coolest concert in history.....

not really. they've played longer shows than both of those 'sets' put together and there are probably two songs out of those that are an impossibility.

Putting songs from the These days album is just a no no without serious audience participation now. I'm a singer and if somebody told me that I had to sing hey god for 50 of the 75 odd shows I'd crap myself.

People need to be realistic and see it from a singer's perspective. You have 75+ shows ahead of you, so you really can't be picking songs from the past that you just can't sing anymore.

If I was Jon and knowing the voice, the setlist will be (Not in this order) :-

Have a Nice Day
Bad Name
Living on a Prayer
Who says you can't come home
Born to be my Baby
Runaway
I'll be there for you (Richie)
Wanted Dead or Alive
Welcome to Wherever you Are
It's my Life
Everyday
Raise your Hands
Radio
Saturday Night (Acoustic)
Last Man Standing

Bad Medicine
Probably a Cover Song of Something
Maybe Shout

Oncore

Just Older
Captain Crash
Keep the Faith

Then you will have the odd show's where you will get the suprise songs like Never Say Goodbye, and maybe These Days with audience Helping out.

Either way, its one heck of a show from start to end, and I dont care about the setlist, just happy they are still rocking.

Mabsey
You know what, I made that post back in September, and looking through the setlists from the recent shows, I'd say I was pretty damn close
