THE solution to all ur setlist problems!
I think Jon and the guys should still cater for the ''casual fan'' at their concerts (they are the ones who buy the bulk of the records afterall) and play 80% of their songs to suit them .... But should stil play say 5-8 songs that the more seasoned Jovi fan would know. Iv read on this board how some people have seen others 'sit down' or head for the exits at songs they dont know..but if Jovi strategiclly (!) positioned the songs throughtout the show then itd be fine! What'd be the harm with an opening of say ;
Bounce
You give love a bad name
I Believe
Raise ur hands
Born to be my baby
Damned
and say an enore of ;
Wanted dead or alive
My guitar lies bleeding
Bad Medicine
These Days
Keep the Faith
etc
If u get my point! the band could still easily hold the crowds attention..iv been to plenty of concerts where i dont even have the bands new cd (eg. stereophonics, chilli peppers, oasis) but still enjoyed it! the new songs might not make the biggest impressions on me but their still fun!
neway, wot ya think?

JBJ - I believe
"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."
