i think it depends on the mood of the band and on the reaction of the crowd...

Er, no actually!!! I admit to not hanging around in Huddersfield to get a "feel" of the city beforehand but I had a great time that night there and the other 30,000 or so there seemed to be enjoying it as well. Stoke was brilliant, maybe better than Huddersfield in my opinion but then I've never been to a crap Jovi show in 10 years and 25 gigs!!! Some are better than others obviously but I've never been to a bad one & I'd lay money on not seeing a bad one this summer again.

I think a few people on this board will disagree with you about Huddersfield.

you've been to WELS?????? which devil rode you to visit that place? it's the city i like least of all the austrian cities - it's totally ugly and i played the worst two soccer games in my life there- nothin' but embarrasing btw: where have been to in that region?- wels is close to where i live...
visit graz- it's a thousand times cooler than wels (and vienna )!

Yes, I have been to Wels (just for one day ) because my friend did a work placement in a hotel there. I was doing a three-week-placement in Gmunden in the tourist office at the time. I really loved Gmunden, but there were too many old tourists I also spent a week at the boarding school in Bad Ischl The city I liked most was Salzburg. Vienna is great too I've never been to Graz, but I might go soon. I have applied at University in Krems and I have an interview there soon

stoke was much better than huddesfield - an unimaginative set but overall strong performances of the songs (check my review on DC if it is still there)

Huddersfield was the only show of BJ's I would actually say i was not satisfired with - it was quite frankly rubbish

I would love to go to any show. I've never been to one, and I think I won't for a long time

whhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! i live in EBENSEE which is as you hopefully know the little spot between gmunden and bad ischl- i went for 8 years to the gymnasium bad ischl!! gmunden has a lot of old tourists indeed (schloss orth...) but ischl is even worse- there you can get water to get pregnant (that's a long story ) and the emperor spent there his summer holidays- it's the most trashy city in the world and the inhabitants are, except of my ex girlfriend :P - the most arrogant people in this region... which school did you go to??

THERE IS A UNIVERSITY IN KREMS??????????? what for?- maybe a wine academy it's a tiny tiny tiny place somewhere on the border between upper and lower austria- but it's beautiful as far as i remember... if you come to graz i'll give you a guided tour if you want to :P

Oh, I liked Ebensee Lovely little place
The English teacher of the School in Bad Ischl lives in Ebensee
The school I went to was the tourism one, at the Maria alm (right word?)...it was a little further away from the center and there were two apartment blocks and an italian restaurant nearby.....

the one in krems is not really a university, its a "fachhochschule" ( www.imc-krems.ac.at ) i have applied to study tourism management there :P

Oh, yes. i would love a guided tour of graz :P

ebensee is a beautiful place- i love the lakes hidden in the mountains... but unfortunately living there is damn boring
haha- the Tourismusschule- that's the place where my father works as a teacher (german and religion) *ggg* and my mother worked as a erzieher in the two apartment blocks for 5 years... in case you heard sth. about a prof. steinkogler max that was him ... i know the teachers there quite well - do you remember some names? would be funny...
when did you go there? i think i'll start some investigations
