Think iv been scammed

i aint had my twickenham tickets yet and going on the last few tours i dont expext them till may - if you paid by debit card you may be covered under your banks fraud policy - email them threatening to contact trading standards under advice from your banks fraud investigation team - that may shit them up enough to get you at least a refund

I'm currently worried about a couple of GC tix I had to buy through eBay. The guy has questionable feedback although a lot of people have been very positive. I have emailed the guy numerous times and he is always prompt to reply and I have his home address and telephone number that I got through eBay and have double checked against the BT phone book - I'm just concerned about some people's previous dealings that haven't gone very well.

I had originally paid for postage but since he lives in Guildford, I've arranged with him to pick them up from him at his house to avoid any "convenient" mishaps with the postal system.

I won't be happy till I have them in hand though and with 6 of us travelling down for it, if two people are excited about it and end up being let down, it'll wreck the entire day for everyone. I'm never buying from touts again after this. The stress just isn't worth it!

I know how you feel. I bought 2 Bon Jovi tickets for the 02 concert last year from ebay and I didn't get the tickets till about 2 days before the concert when everybody had already had theirs quite a while before. It was very worrying but thankfully i did get them in the end and it worked out fine. Just remember that buying on ebay or other sites like that is always a risk, and you have to weigh up whether the risk is worth it or not. I will keep my fingers crossed that you get your tickets.

It'd be my parents that would miss out but it would wreck the whole day for the rest of us if we know they're sitting in the car outside after having gotten so excited about the concert. Couple that with them taking unpaid holiday from work and hiring a people carrier for the trip and it becomes clear that there's a lot more at stake than just the tickets unfortunately!

ok a wee update,

contacted ebay, an they are giving me the details of the person so i can ring them i havnt decided if i will or not.

on the plus side i can get my money back, but it doesnt look like ill get the GC.

now dont get me wrong iv got standing tickets which is cool, but, i was in the stand for dublin 5 years ago, standing 2 years ago and i guess i was just looking forward to getting closer to the stage this time round

still holding out hope that ill magically still get my tickets but to be honest its not looking good

None of the English tickets have been shipped yet, and GC tickets are surfacing sporadically for Twickenham so it shouldnt be impossible to get some if it does all go tits up.

well folks, with a lot of patience, a lot of angry messages, thumping of keyboards,

my GC tickets finally arrived yesterday!!!! wouldnt be suprised if they end up just being really good fakes!! but they look like the real thing lol.

so finally im heading to Punchestown GC, plan to go early, wonder what the chances are of me actually getting front row?? least now i may have the option!
