But as a single? Bad move.
This is exactly my thoughts. Superman Tonight and When We Were Beautiful are two extraordinarlly good songs, with a mature, serious tone and they tank like a Steven Segal movie.

I suppose from a purely business perspective you can understand the record company deciding against releasing another 'serious' song like (presumably) This Aint Love or The More Things Change, The More They Stay The Same in favour of something like this. I guess its not really that big of a deal because singles really mean **** all now to Bon Jovi.

I just hope that like you said Jon doesn't feel the need to go off and write stupid pop songs "for the kids" since The Circle didn't hit.

Now, don't discriminate the people in Regina... I bet they're happy to be in a video just like everyone else!

Oh, so this isn't a hoax I see.

I may need to take another break.

Yes, it’s cheesy but, in my opinion, there have been plenty of worse songs in the past 10 years. I’ve become accustomed to the poorly chosen singles by now.

The optimist in me wants to think that it's not going to be a single and it was shot in vein to be used for football promos but then again, it wouldn't surprise me. It just be another decision Bon Jovi will make that I'll never understand.

Aloha !

Just because they shot a video doesn't mean it's going to be for the new single. Even Jon knows the song is too shit for that, and if it'd be the new single he surely wouldn't play the song over the PA at every show.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
