Default This is why Bad Name should be dropped...

1989 - Rockin' Baby!!!!

2009 - Lame.

Hell, in 93 it was still rockin'

Now, it sounds like a damn nursery rhyme.

Yeah, it was still good in 95. Not as sharp as 87-93, but still worth performing. Honestly, it really should get dropped now. I get the whole first #1 single thing, and it's for the casual fans, but really - It's embarrassing. If there is any song of Bon Jovi's I'd ever classify as hard rock or glam, it would be Bad Name. It is played with such little emotion now that it's an insult to the song. Jon literally whispers the lyrics.

Jon sucks at this song live.

It's not just his voice (although that is part of it). The main issue is that he puts no energy into his performances, it's a song that needs some attitude and needs to be sung with a rock edge not with this squeaky voice.

It's definitely not as good as the album cut but... well - mostly it's Jon's voice. Richie sounds great on this track live. I don't think it's so bad it's worth dropping though... especially since it's 1 song fans will definitely be wanting to hear.

It should also be noted that they didn't sound good on any performance on the today show in November - they sounded better on some than others, but never good.

The whole band sucks at this song live. The guitar is whiney and annoying. I've never liked it. In fact, the first "live" Jovi song I heard was a recording of Bad Name from the SWW tour and my assumption based on hearing it was that Bon Jovi sucked as a live band. Fortunately, I heard other recordings and learned differently! This is one song that's never managed to sound as good live as it did on the recorded version.

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

i must admit it's becoming a bit of a let-down live but having said that part of me would still be disapointed if i went to a jovi show and it didn't crop up ...
