Even when I've gone to buy tickets at a Ticketmaster counter, I've still had to pay a service fee.

As far as ticket prices, I think Bon Jovi was a little bit high. It cost me the same as U2...actually Bon Jovi was more for the Atlanta show. I am going to see Sister Hazel on New Year's Eve....only $25 a ticket. And that is actually high for them. Granted, they aren't on the same level as Bon Jovi, but they are an incredible live band. And it's a New Years Show. Def Leppard was only in the $50 range...in virtually the same seat as I'm seeing Bon Jovi.

I know what you mean...here in Oz, ppl paid up to A$560 a ticket to see the Eagles last year...and that wasn't on ebay or anything...that was the price for the Diamond tickets...and every single show was sold out. I just forked out A$120 for 2 Gold standing and A$85 for 2 reserved seats for the Coldplay gig here next year...my kids flipped at that cost, but here that's about the norm these days. [A$120-160]

General admission tickets for the uk shows arnt too badly priced really, £35 compared to £60 for u2 at the same stadium (Manchester). Its Gold Circle what messes it up the difference in price for Wembley GA and Gold is over double!!! I know Robbie Williams is expected to announce a Wembley show this week, il be interested to note what theyre charging for that.

But all these bands are in a league of their own. I would never put BJ in with McCarthy or Simon and Garfunkel.

I paid more for Aerosmith and Sting, both I think are worth more than BJ.

Tell me about it!!! Most tickets here go on sale on Friday AM, although I have to say my workmates are pretty good about it. If I need to ring and use the net they will cover for me usually.

Here they go on sale on a Saturday.. still doesn't help though!! No matter where you buy tickets here you have to pay service charges - but that's only about EUR 4,50
